Mountain Biking Loop

Right on the property and from either the creek or Mildred’s Pond one can fish for brook trout, cutthroat or rainbows. Additional fishing is available at nearby Lazy lake, Wasa or Quartz Lake.

Wasa Lake/Provincial Park
Approximately 8 km away is home to the Kootenay’s warmest waters for swimming and boating at Wasa Lake. The lake offers water skiing in designated areas, canoeing and windsurfing. The park itself has a great trail system including an 8 km interpretive trail around lake - designated for bikers and hikers.

Fairmont Alpine Resort/Hot Springs
Located approx. 70 km to the north is the resort of Fairmont Hot Springs which has alpine skiing (with night skiing), golf, hiking and of course the hot spring pools.

Kimberley Alpine Resort
Only 35 km away and visible from the property is the Bavarian themed ski town of Kimberley with 5 lifts and 68 named ski runs.

The long golf season due to the favorable climate and spectacular geography in the area offers some work class gold opportunities. With a 35 min drive there are 9 quality golf courses: Trickle creek, Kimberley, Bootleg, St Eugene, Shadow Mountain, Wildstone, Mission Hills and Cranbrook.

Natural Hot Springs
A 45-min drive to the north gets you to Lussier Hot Springs a natural hot spring on the side of the river offering a few different pools of varying temperatures.

Backcountry Roads/Crown Land
The land borders onto 3.35 km of Crown land. Carrying on past the property one can access Quartz Lake, Lazy Lake up to towards Rockbluff Lake. Forest service roads off can also take you up to almost 2,000 metres elevation in the Rocky Mountains with excellent hunting.
