Access : From Highway 97 North turn east at 70 Mile House on North Bonaparte Road for about 8.4 km. Turn left on North Green Lake Road for about 18 km go straight at the fork in the road stay straight on North Green Lake Road at about 1.1 km. Turn left on Ace High Road, it is 1 km to the resort.

The store has a great selection of fishing tackle, bait, and hand-tied flies, as well as fishing licenses.


Fire pits and picnic tables are set in front of each cabin and campsite, swing-set, volleyball, horse-shoe pit, motor-boats, paddle boats and canoes all provide lots of outdoor fun for the family. There is an excellent hike from the resort to Olson's meadows and butte. There are several guest ranches in the area to enjoy a day of trail-riding, as well as buffalo and alpaca ranches, which conduct fun and informative tours.


Watch Lake is a "quiet" lake with a speed restriction of less than 8 km/h (5 mph) and a motor restriction of 9.9 hp. There is no bait restriction. The lake freezes over by the end of November and the ice comes off around mid-April.

Area Data :

A land rich in history, wide open spaces and abundant wildlife. A perfect travel destination! Known for excellent fishing, the area also hosts abundant wildlife and incredible bird watching. While studying one of the many feathered species of the area one might also see a moose, bear, coyote, or fox trotting by or drinking in one of the many water holes. As this is the heart of ranching country, you might also see a working cowboy out riding the range, keeping an eye on the cow herd.


Watch Lake is 1 km north of Green Lake 2.5 miles of good, clean, clear water! 50,000 rainbow trout are put into Watch Lake every year, making it an excellent fishing lake! Power boats have a speed restriction of 8 km/hr. While most fish caught are about 1 lb, rainbows up to 14 pounds have been recorded. This lake is very popular with fishermen who enjoy trolling, spinning and fly fishing.
